Ozone skincare in Brunswick Heads
Kirsty is the Director of Ozone Collective Pty Ltd and has been working with ozone gas now for over 20 years. Her experience in therapeutic applications of ozone led her to create the beautiful range of Australian Organic Ozonated oils available here.
Ozone is natures cleaning agent and as an oxidative atom it has the power to burn up pollutants, viruses and bacteria.
As oxygen rises from the earth it meets UV rays in the atmosphere which creates Ozone. Ozone is heavier than air so it falls back to Earth cleaning our air of pollutants and is inherently antibacterial. Ozone is also created by fast moving water and is the smell of clean that you get before a thunder storm as lightening also creates ozone. In Greek Ozone literally translates to ‘smell’.
Ozonated Oil is created by bubbling pure ozone created from medical grade oxygen and ozone through litres of organic oil for a period of time so much that the ozone molecule is bound to the fat content of the oil and stabilised so that when applied to the skin it has the purest ozonide concentration. This is the only method known to stabilise the ozonide and repeatedly access its healing properties.
After five years of gathering feedback from clients about the benefits of the Ozonated Oil, I have learned that it is best used directly onto the area of concern with repeated topical applications two to three times per day for a period of two to three weeks. Naturopaths have used the oil for ringworm and Dentists use the ozone oil to apply to gums. It can be used as a teeth whitening agent and is wonderful for oil pulling. It has been noticed that it promotes healing of skin lesions and rapid scar healing post stitches being removed. It hydrates and oxygenates the skin providing a radiant healthy glow and softens even the driest of skin. Apply it to fingernails and toe nails and watch the nail health improve. It can be used as a natural deodorant as well and applied to sensitive areas of the body to ease itching and thrush. My favourite use is on mosquito bites as it very quickly eases the bite and no welts remain. Apply it on any insect bite and notice a rapid reduction in irritation including tick bites.
Dogs, cats & horses & guinea pigs also are showing positive results when used topically for skin or hair problems.
Ozonated Oil is a natural all-purpose salve that has a variety of uses from soothing dry flaky skin, or calming insect bites. It can be used as an anti-inflammatory salve and this pain relieving quality makes it a wonderfully therapeutic after sports massage oil. There are many varieties of oils that can be ozonated however Australian Grown Olive oil is the best all round carrier oil to deliver high quality ozonation to the skin. Ozonated Olive oil promotes healthy nails, gums and whitens teeth. It is gentle enough to use on children and your beloved pets as its 100% preservative and toxin free. Throw all your other creams and balms away as one jar of Ozonated Olive Oil will cater to so many of your skin and body care needs.
